Not a fan. I'm not a fan of silence. Some people dream about silence and can't wait for the house to be quiet. I like noise, movement, music, something to let me know stuff is happening - I always say, I'll have quiet time in the grave, I promise.

For those of you who are empty nesters and all of your children or just your child is out of the house and learning to live life on their own without being under your roof, this is a sudden difference that will get noticed. And, whether you embrace it or dread it, it is most likely inevitable. We are still at our current home and will be adding on as family has moved back and we are so thrilled to be able to be a part of everyday life as grandparents.
